Solomon inks one of state's first high school NIL deals

 Schley County High School senior Jalewis Solomon has become one of the first Georgia high schoolers to ink a NIL (Name Image Likeness) deal.
 Leaf is including Solomon in its "NextGen" trading card program in what has been described as a "five-figure cash deal." He is being featured on a print-to-order trading card. The cards will be printed on metal.
 Until recently it was illegal for high school athletes in Georgia to enter into such deals. However, the Georgia High School Association passed regulations making it acceptable last month. The move came on the heels of the college football world being forced by the court to allow NIL deals.
