Buena Vista has Major Water Outage

The City of Buena Vista experienced a major water outage last Friday that left the town without water service through the weekend and into this week. As this issue of the newspaper was going to press, it appeared that service was fully restored.
However, the city is still under a "boil water" notice, as they await the results of water tests. There was nothing to indicate that the water was unsafe, but state regulations in such situations require testing. The city hopes to be able to lift the notice before the end of the week, likely on Friday, once test results are available.
