A special photograph can become a family treasure. That's what Gracie Lynn Wilks and family want to help the community capture with the opening of The Town Jewel on 'The Square' in Buena Vista.
Wilks will use the space for her own photography services - Gracie Lynn Depictions - and will also offer it to others who don't have their own studio space.
"I have been doing photography since 2022," she said. "People can come and freely explore their creative capabilities. ... I want to bring local photographers in and bring traveling photographers in to come and view our beautiful town. I hope to also bring community members in to get their pictures done."
The Wilks family describes the venture as a creative studio that is a "workspace by creatives for creatives"...
