Preparing students for Georgia's future workforce, some Marion County High School seniors were recently recognized in a special way. Marion County Middle High School Career and Technical Education (CTAE) Department hosted the third annual CTAE Signing Day on May 7.
Seventeen seniors (recently turned graduates) were recognized for planning to pursue a career in a CTAE related field. Those fields include, but are not limited to: Agriculture, Cosmetology, Education, Engineering, Graphic Communications, and Healthcare Science.
The ceremony began with greetings from representatives of the Georgia Department of Education, Dr. Barbara Wall, Deputy Superintendent, and Mrs. Vickie Rundbaken, Human Services and Education Program Specialist.
