Wild Shootout in Buena Vista

A wild shootout in front of multiple witnesses last Wednesday evening left bystanders in shock and landed several local young men in jail. Two more young men were still wanted at the deadline for this issue of the newspaper. Miraculously, no injuries were reported, even though witnesses expected there to be fatalities due to the amount on gunfire.
Three of the suspects have previous local criminal arrests, while a third was a passenger in another vehicle shooting incident The Journal reported on back in April 2023.
