In 2004 - at the "old school" - Marion County students were introduced to a young speaker who held quite a presence at Monster.com. Fast forward, twenty years later, and Dr. Yvonne Harvey-Williams is an independent motivational legend, not just in Marion County but across the nation.
Dr. Harvey-Williams spreads a message of peace, goal-setting, motivation, strength, and courage, relying on her own background to demonstrate the importance of trajectory. In short, she inspires.
On August 20, she spoke to middle school and high school students in two separate sessions, reminding them of important goals to help make school worthwhile:
