Marion County High scored a huge win over visiting Macon County, 27-18, last Friday in Eagle Stadium to soar into contention for the Region 6 title.
After a 1-4 start to the season, the Eagles have steadily improved and are now 4-4 overall and 3-1 in Region 6.
"This was the biggest win ever for our senior class and it's one of our program's biggest wins since 2019," said Head Coach Billy Law. "It was exciting and I'm very proud of our players."
He attributed the team's turnaround to hard work and staying focused.
