Southern Hospitality Showcased in Buena Vista

Nestled in the heart of Marion County, Buena Vista is a charming little town in Southwest Georgia. The Marion County Development Authority is spearheading numerous projects to enrich the town's cultural heritage, focusing on the historical roads and trails that have shaped its past. One of the key initiatives is to shed light on the Federal Road, especially as we approach the 200th anniversary of Lafayette's iconic journey through Georgia. On March 30, 1825, Lafayette traversed what is now Marion County, making it a significant landmark in our history.
