Richland May Use Liens to Collect City Bills

 The Richland City Council voted to approve the option of using liens to collect unpaid bills, gave the okay for PTSD insurance for first responders, and covered several other topics during its recent monthly meeting.

 Mayor Kent Josey presented, and the Council voted to pass a resolution for the provision of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) insurance required for first responders.
 A city ordinance was approved allowing the city to place liens against properties with unpaid city services and utility bills.
 Mayor Josey addressed the SPLOST referendum to renew public services funds will be on the 2025 ballot.
