Chatt Commission Lawsuit Saga Continues

Note: This is a slightly revised story than the one in the 1-15-25 print issue. The revisions basically make it clearer that Mr. Hoyte said he already had a CUP approved by Planning and Zoning. It also adds a direct quote from him.
The saga of the Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County battling one of its own in court is continuing in 2025.
Commissioner Damon Hoyte initially lost a case concerning a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) in Magistrate Court. However, he filed suit in Chattahoochee County Superior Court asking the court to review the judgement.
