The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County officially created a new position, made appointments to the Planning & Zoning Board, approved a road work priority change, and discussed other items during its recent monthly meeting.
Commissioners voted to create a position with the title "Public Safety Director". This vote was to formally create the job. Now, they will look for the first employee to serve with that job title.
Their advertisement for the position (seen on Page 12) includes having extensive experience in all aspects of EMS Operations, Public Safety and Emergency Management.
