Stewart County School Superintendent Dr. Michael Robinson recently announced that he is retiring. His letter to the School Board is below.
Dear Members of the Stewart County Board of Education,
After much thought, I am announcing my retirement from the Stewart County School District, effective at the end of this academic year on July 1, 2025. This decision follows 32 rewarding years in education, including three years as Superintendent in Stewart County since July 2022.
Reflecting on my time here, I am proud of all we have achieved together:
· Improved Literacy and Numeracy: We achieved double-digit increases in literacy and numeracy rates, earning recognition as a Literacy and Math Leader School.
