Flint Awards Grant to Schley Concerned Citizens

The Flint Energies Foundation recentyly granted Schley County Association of Concerned Citizens (SCACC) $5,000. The requested funds will be used for renovations, repairs, and installations needed.
SCACC representatives, Linda Adams and Bobby Jackson, stated, "the SCACC purchased the old school building on the north end of the city on Spivey Street in Ellaville to renovate for the community to use for meetings, children's programs and community events. The building is in need of updates such as a new waterline, door locking mechanisms, floor sealant and a handicapped ramp."
