Loose Axles Cause Wreck in Marion

A scary wreck blocked Georgia Highway 26 in Marion County for a significant part of the afternoon on Thursday, April 24, causing many to have a long wait or to reroute their trips.
Posts of social media indicated that there was a fatality, but luckily those were false.
According to Sgt. Holloway of the Georgia State Patrol, a "semi" hauling a load of axles used to move houses was travelling west on the highway when two of the axels came loose from the load.
