MCHS's Barkley Signs with Aurora University

Marion County High School senior Zaviyon Barkley committed to play football at Aurora University, located in Aurora, Illinois, during a special ceremony last week.
The 6'1", 190-pound Eagle will join a program that has been very successful recently. The Spartans posted an impressive 9-2 record last season. They compete at the NCAA Division III level.
MCHS Head Coach Billy Law said it's no surprise that the impressive Eagle has signed to play at the next level.
"I'm so proud of what Zayvion has accomplished," said Law. "He has worked hard in the weight room the past four years he has been an All-Region player for us. He has played free safety and outside linebacker for us and really shined. I know he will be great at the next level, too."
