Chatt Commission Makes Planning and Zoning Change

 The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County voted to switch from a seven-member to a five-member Planning & Zoning Board and discussed various other items during its recent meeting.
 The commissioners had discussed the Planning & Zoning issue previously, noting that at times the board doesn't have a quorum (the minimum number of members present to officially vote on issues). It was reasoned that if they only had five members, it would be easier to have a quorum (only three would technically be needed).
 Commissioner Damon Hoyte had voiced his disagreement with the plan and reiterated that in this meeting.
 The change was passed by a 3-2 vote, with Chairman Charles Coffey and Commissioners Jason Frost and Gerald Douglas voting "yes"...
