The Chattahoochee County High varsity football team was without Head Coach Mike Nash due to illness but they made him proud last Friday, recording their first win of the season in dominating fashion. They beat Jordan High by a score of 46-21 in Odis Spencer Stadium in Columbus.
"They went through a lot the week leading up to the game but they handled adversity well and came out very focused and on fire," said Offensive Coordinator Caleb McFather. "We had some seniors step up and take responsibility as leaders and that made it easier for the coaches."
He added, "Most importantly, they guys carried themselves like good young men and represented our school well. We're very, very proud of them for that.
