The Marion County High varsity softball team jumped all over Jordan High in a double-header last week, winning by scores of 19-2 and 15-0. The No. 5 ranked Lady Eagles have won five games in a row and are now 15-4 overall. They are currently in second place in Region 6, just one game behind fellow Top 10 team Taylor County.
Game One: Marion scored a 19-2 Mercy Rule win in only 2 ½ innings in the first game against Jordan. They cranked out 10 hits in the short contest.
Haleigh Frazier led the way by going 3-for-3 and driving in a run.
Adding 2 hits each were Taner Tyler (4 RBI) and Taylor O'Neal (2 RBI).
