The Schley County High Wildcats took the inside track in the race for the Region 6 Championship last Friday by scoring a huge shutout win, 17-0, over Macon County at home.
Neither offense found the endzone in the first half but the Wildcats put 10 points on the scoreboard with a Parth Patel 22-yard field goal and a 55-yard "Pick Six" by Caleb Renfroe. They led 10-0 at halftime.
After a scoreless third quarter, Schley quarterback Blake Weldon tossed a 7-yard TD pass to Cameron Hamsley early in the fourth quarter to make it 17-0.
