At the October meeting of the Schley County Commission there was a discussion of the rules to be followed by those operating utility vehicles on county roads.
There were two types of vehicles in the discussion. A Side-by-Side vehicle is a utility vehicle with a minimum of two (non-straddle) seats positioned side by side and enclosed with a roll cage structure. It has a minimum of four wheels and is operated by foot pedals and a steering wheel. An all-terrain vehicle or ATV has a saddle-like seat and is operated using handlebar controls.
