The Webster County Courthouse Square was full of people enjoying the annual Webster County Olde Tyme Country Fair last Saturday.
The fair included tons of arts & crafts, food, and informational booths, as well as the traditional parade, which of course included lots of local groups and antique tractors.
Jimmy Gaddy of nearby Lumpkin was front-and-center "running sound" for the stage. It's a role he's played for 11 years now. He says he enjoys "seeing people have a good time with good, clean family fun" and that keeps him coming back as a volunteer every year.
Gaddy said there's not a lot to "fix" with the fair, but they do try to add new things, especially for the younger crowd. This year it was offering "open mic" sessions.
