Panthers Score Clutch Win Over Crawford County
The Chattahoochee County High football team is headed back to the State Playoffs after an emotional, hard-fought victory over Crawford County to end the regular season.
It was a sweet victory for a team that has seen its share of sadness and challenges. They entered the season under the leadership of a new head coach for the 9th time in 15 years, with a combined record of 9-22.
However, Coach Mike Nash told the players he was in it for the long haul and if they trusted him and worked hard, they'd turn things around. They lost a few players along the way, but the culture showed improved attitudes, which drew more people to the program.
