The Stewart County Commission opened its new EMS Headquarters officially on Friday, October 24th with an Open House. About 75 people attended the event.
Public Service Administrator Greg Stewart welcomed the visitors. Stewart County Commission Chairwoman Arcola Scott introduced the other commissioners present, who included Vice Chairman Tom Mayo, Commissioner Tyrone Nelson, and Commissioner MaQuonzie Thomas.
County Manager Mac Moye noted that the County is fortunate to be able to have two ambulances in service at all times, and it has two brand-new ambulances, thanks to the citizens.
