Chattahoochee County Commissioner Damon Hoyte's legal battles continue, but his fight to stay on the ballot is over. He won it convincingly.
The Board of Elections held a Public Hearing last Thursday evening on a Candidate Challenge filed against Hoyte. The hearing was requested by local resident Steven Wagner, who challenged Hoyte's qualifications. In a letter to election officials, he noted Hoyte's protracted battle with the county government in court.
