Buena Vista Passes New Vendor Space Ordinance

Motorized Golf Cart Ordinance also Introduced
The Buena Vista City Council passed a new Downtown Vendor Space Ordinance during its recent monthly meeting.
 The ordinance permits and regulates vendors, as defined as "any individual or entity selling goods, food, merchandise, or services on a temporary basis".
 Vendor spaces include public parking spaces around the Courthouse Square and any adjacent streets. Vendors will need to coordinate with the City and receive a permit. The fees are: Daily for $25; Weekly for $100; and Monthly for $300. Spaces for special events (like the Rural America Festival) will be set by the event organizer/producer.
