Time Capsule Buried in Cusseta

The Chattahoochee County Historic Preservation Society recently capped off the time capsule put together during the opening of Unity Park.
They shared the following:
Today we placed the engraved sandstone marker in its permanent home at Unity Park, directly above the Community Time Capsule that is buried deep beneath it.
This isn't just any stone. It is an authentic piece of Chattahoochee County history.
The sandstone was originally used as a foundation pillar beneath an old historic home here in Chattahoochee County. When the building could no longer be saved, we were able to salvage this remarkable piece of our past rather than see it lost forever.
