The Chattahoochee County Board of Education has published its 2026 property tax digest and five-year history of levy, announcing plans to keep its maintenance and operation (M&O) millage rate steady at 16.4680 mills for the upcoming tax year.
While the millage rate remains unchanged from 2025, total property tax revenues collected by the school system will increase due to a growth in local property values. The net tax digest - the total assessed value of taxable property after exemptions - expanded by nearly $1.6 million, rising 2.45% from $65,059,250 in 2025 to $66,654,150 in 2026.
