Marion County High School won a region title and had many athletes advance to sectionals last Monday, April 17 at the Region 6 Track & Field Championship held at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany. The Eagles won the event, while the Lady Eagles placed third.

The Eagles won the Region Championship by scoring 140.5 points, edging runner-up Schley County (139). Manchester placed 3rd with 100 points, while Chattahoochee was 4th with 91, and Furlow Charter was 5th with 55.
