The Region 6 Champion Schley County High Wildcats breezed thru the first round of the State Baseball Playoffs last week, knocking off the visiting Wilkinson County Warriors by the Mercy Rule in both games of a double-header.
The Wildcats (22-7) will host the Lake Oconee Academy Titans (18-10) in the second round (Sweet 16). They will face off in a double-header on Thursday, May 4 at 3 and 5:30 pm. If they split, a third game will be played on Friday at 3 pm. The Titans are 18-10 and the No. 3 seed from Region 8.
