Wildcats Advance to Elite 8 in State Playoffs

The Schley County High Wildcats swept their Sweet 16 series against Lake Oconee Academy last week to advance in the State Playoffs.
They will now host Wilcox County in the Quarterfinals (Elite 8). The Wildcats (25-7, Region 8's top seed) and the Patriots (23-5, Region 4's top seed) will square off in a double-header on Wednesday, May 10 at 4 and 6:30 pm. If neither team wins both games, they'll play a third game on Thursday at 6 pm. The teams have played one common opponent this year with similar results (they both had 1 win and 1 loss against Lee County).
