Springtime Ellaville - Luau in the Ville

The Ellaville-Schley County Chamber of Commerce organized a huge Springtime Ellaville festival nicknamed “Luau in the Ville.” Beginning with a “Color Run” with 130 runners entered, the event proceeded to draw large crowds throughout the day. Colored chalk dust was thrown on the runners when they came across the finish line. Coming in first was David Williams, followed by Declan Ekkel in second, and Marcus Jones in third.
Master of Ceremonies Lance Teele announced the day's performers which included Schley County Middle/High School Varsity Cheerleaders, Color Guard, and Jazz Band, Amy's Dance School performers, Living By Grace Gospel group, Mahealani's Polynesian Entertainment, and for the evening's concert Lonnie Smith and the Hired Hands Band.
