The remains of a hometown hero who is memorialized by a memorial featured prominently on the lawn of the Marion County Courthouse in "The Square" of downtown Buena Vista (as well as a bridge named in his memory a few miles outside of town) now has a final resting place in Andersonville National Cemetery.
Luther Story, who was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for heroic actions during the Korean War, was laid to rest with full honors during a special ceremony on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29.
