Marion Co Chamber has new President

Local businessman Cody Currington has been appointed as the intermediate president of the Marion County Chamber of Commerce. The appointment will continue for the remainder of 2023 and an official election will take place in January of 2024.
"It is with great pleasure I announce that Cody Currington has been appointed as intermediate president," said Debby Ford, longtime volunteer and president of the Chamber. "Cody served as my high school and college intern. Now, as a successful business owner, he has continued to participate in Chamber activities. His dedication to our business community and the betterment of the Buena Vista/Marion County area as a whole has also strengthened."
