Longtime MCHS Coach is now at Perry High

Fran McPherson, longtime head girls basketball and track coach at Marion County High School, is now employed in Peach County. She is the head girls basketball coach and assistant softball coach at Perry High School.
She said the Marion County system was ready to make a change and she is now looking forward to a new and challenging opportunity at Perry High.
"The girls basketball program (at Perry) needs someone who loves to develop a program and provide some stability as there has been some turnover the past few years," she said. "I told them I had one more program in me.
I feel that is what I do best and have done at each school that I was hired to do so. It definitely will be a challenge as the state runner-up and state champion in 4-AAAA are both from ou...
