The Richland City Council welcomed a new member, elected a mayor pro tem, approved plans for a festival, discussed a problem with a well pump, and discussed other items during its January 11 meeting.
Newly elected Council member Kristy White was welcomed to the board, sworn in, and officially installed before the meeting.
J.C. Clark was voted unanimously to be mayor pro tempore succeeding Bill Coy. Councilman Clark has served the city of Richland on the city council for approximately 18 years.
