More Than Just a Run - Event brings community together

A huge crowd turned out for the Annual "Can You Cross Country? 5K and Fun Run" at Marion County Middle-High School last Saturday for an evening that was full of challenge, fun, sweat, smiles, cheers, and tears.
It was more than just a "run." This year's annual fundraiser for the cross country teams was dedicated in loving memory to Tyrek Weaver and Anthony Bair, two local students who died in tragic accidents in June. With that in mind, the Weaver and Bair families were honored guests. There was also a presentation of significant donations in memory of the young men to school programs that were dear to their hearts - track for Tyrek and band for Anthony.
