Buena Vista native to debut third play at home

A homegrown playwright is returning to Buena Vista for the debut of her third stage play - Under the Rug - which will be performed live on the stage in the Josh Gibson Center on Saturday, October 14. Doors will open at 5 pm and the show will start at 6 pm.
The play was written and directed by Timika West, who uses the alias Ankh T. Seshat for her productions.
West was born and raised in Buena Vista and is a member of the Tri-County High School Class of 1995. She moved away in 2002, but says her heart is always at home.
"I look forward to the support from my hometown to keep me grounded and continue to link to my humble beginnings," she said.
