Elementary students in Chattahoochee County were recognized by State Superintendent Richard Woods and the Georgia Department of Education as a Literacy Leader School in a special ceremony at Chattahoochee County Education Center on Tuesday, September 12.
This fall, Superintendent Woods presented a literacy banner to one school in each RESA whose 2023 third graders achieved reading proficiency in the 90th percentile and were the highest in the RESA.
Superintendent Woods told students that "reading is the key to future success, and students at CCEC are well on the way to being future leaders."
