The No. 1 ranked Schley County High Wildcats keep rolling last Friday, as they crushed Chattahoochee County 56-7 on the road. Schley improved to 6-0 with the win, while Chattco slipped to 0-6.
The Chattco Panthers threatened early, as they had a shot to got up 7-0 on their first possession, moving deep inside the "Red Zone." However, they fumbled on the 1-yard line. From that point on it was "all Wildcats," as the visitors scored eight times in the first quarter to take a commanding 49-7 lead by halftime.
Making that early goal-line stop and then putting points on the board was just what SCHS Head Coach Darren Alford was hoping for.
