A group of around 15 runners, two motorcycle groups, and support volunteers completed the 2023 Georgia Run for the Fallen (GRFF) on Sunday, Oct. 8. For three days they had moved methodically down the highways from Milledgeville to Columbus/Fort Moore, with the runners breaking into four teams and rotating until they had travelled 164 miles with the motorcycle groups – Patriot Guard Riders & Bomber Girls – escorting and cheering them along the long route. They were tested both physically and emotionally.
