After many exciting games with the Schley County High Wildcats, senior Jalewis Solomon, 6' 0", 185 pounds, is ready to become a Gamecock.
Jalewis, who received 28 offers to sign with various college teams, committed to the University of South Carolina. He made the decision official in a special ceremony at SCHS on December 20 with his mother, Jabia, his brother Zayden, and his grandfather Zeb looking on.
SCHS Head Coach Darren Alford said Jalewis is an outstanding athlete and an awesome player and he is very pleased to see him heading to a major college.
