Mary Lee Crimes of Preston will hit the "Century Mark" on January 19, 2024. Below is a short history of her life shared by her family.
She was born January 19, 1924, in Webster County to the late Mr. James and Mrs. Mattie Harrell. She was the second oldest of eight siblings. She attended Rosenwald School at Shiloh. She joined and is a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 409 Rogers Road, Preston, at an early age.
She was married to the late Mr. William Crimes, Sr. From this union nine children were born. She has six living and three deceased. She is the proud grandmother of 28 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, and 34 great-great grandchildren - total of 124 happy young adult...
