MLK Jr Celebration held in Ellaville

Sponsored jointly by the Schley County Association of Concerned Citizens (SCACC) and Making a Difference in Ellaville (MADE), the annual Martin Luther King Day Celebration was held at the John Lewis Center in Ellaville on Monday.
Mary Tookes welcomed everyone following breakfast. Daryl Aldridge gave the opening prayer and Frazier Luckerson read a scripture.
Jerry Franklin played his guitar and sang "People Get Ready for the Train for Jordan." Barbara Haynes read a poem and the Aim dance group performed a spiritual dance.
