Latavia's Closet hosts Easter Egg Hunt

The Roscoe Robinson Recreation Center in Cusseta was a fun place to be for youngsters and their parents last Saturday, as 250 people turned out to participate in the Annual Lavatia's Closet Easter Egg Hunt.
Founder Shirley Jones couldn't help but smile as she watched the event bring joy to the kids.
"When I see other counties having events for their community and their families, it means a lot to me knowing that the families in my community will want to have events that are close to home and bringing joy, smiles, and happiness to our kids' faces," she said. "Also, it helps the families that do not have transportation to these other counties. I'm blessed to have people on my team to help and serve our community.
