A Preston man has been arrested for allegedly murdering two people.
Marcus Donatvious Butts, 28, of Preston was recently arrested and charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, home invasion, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
He is accused of murdering Jessica Hatcher Thompson, 41, and her daughter, Julianna Thompson, 17, in Smithville, which is around 25 miles from Preston.
