Buena Vista's Downtown Mural goes 3-D

The beautiful mural - The Longleaf Forest: Our History & Our Future - in downtown Buena Vista is going 3-D. No, special effects haven't been added, but a very special touch has. The area in front of the mural now has hundreds of companion plants and flowers.
"About the time the mural was being finished last year, we noticed that we had like nine feet of dirt in front of it and we thought of making it three-dimensional," said Faye Wells, who owns the property along with her husband, Jay. "On the day of the mural dedication, we learned of an opportunity to be part of a project to make that happen."
