The Stewart County School System recently announced a slew of administrative changes for the 2024-25 academic year, including the addition of Brian Barnhill, who will become the district's new K-12 principal.
Barnhill, an Ellaville native, boasts a career in education that spans over three decades, including 17 years as an educator and coach and 13 within various administrative positions, such as middle school assistant principal, middle and high school principal, athletic director, alternative school director, and assistant superintendent.
"I believe that having served in these multiple areas has prepared me for my new position as principal at Stewart County," Barnhill stated in a recent interview with The Journal.
