Report notes failure to test and provide water reports in BV

The City of Buena Vista failed to provide annual reports on its water system for multiple years and failed to test for several contaminants for at least a portion of last year, according to the Annual Drinking Water Quality Report it recently released.
From the report, it appears that the city failed to provide the annual report from July 2017 through June 2023.
Potential contaminants not tested for, according to the report, include Combined Radium 226/228, Gross Alpha Excluding Radon and Uranium, Lead and Copper, and Uranium.
