Ellaville Downtown Development Authority brings events to town

The first Downtown Ellaville Farmers Market was held on the square on Saturday, June 22. Fifteen vendors offered a wide variety of vegetables, baked goods, and merchandise ranging from pet portraits to 3-D printed gadgets.
The Board of Directors of the Ellaville Downtown Development Authority works alongside Ellaville City Manager Lynne McChargue to develop and enhance Ellaville's downtown. The addition of the Farmers Market event was one of the latest efforts.
"More activities are planned going forward," McChargue said. "We are fortunate to have these dedicated board members to work together with the City of Ellaville to help the businesses and the community prosper together."
