Schley County Team Wins World Series

Pretty much every kid who's ever played baseball has dreamed of playing in and winning the World Series. A special group of Schley County ballplayers recently lived that dream. No, they didn't win THE World Series, but they won their version of it, the 10U Diamond Youth World Series.
After playing on their respective teams in the regular season, a dozen players were chosen to form the Schley County 10U All-Stars, which then represented the local league in the official Diamond Youth tournaments. And boy, did they represent!
In June, they breezed thru both the District Tournament and State Tournament, racking up seven wins and outscoring their opponents 117-0.
